The last day in Australia

I'm going back home today. We woke up early in the morning. Urgh~ I slept for a few hours only last night. I feel so tired. We went to Melbourne Airport to check in. That person who was helping us to check in who suck. She was so discriminate chinese. She did a lot of silly things.

Firstly, she weighted our total language. ok.. that's fine but she calculated and added up one by one. Her action was really horrible. Secondly, she weighted our HAND language and mentioned that the weight shouldn't over 7kg. F*** her. I have never heard about this rule before. I just knew that the size of the hand language is the important issue, NOT the weight. Urgh~ and we have only one hand lauguage for six person. Suak then, we then seperate it into two bags. I wouldn't let this kind of person spoil my mood.

This is the last picture we took in Australia.

Bye bye Australia. Finally, I reached Penang on 9pm. After that, we went to eat Porridge as dinner. Penang's foods are still the best.

P/S: Hurray~~ Penang!!!

Day 8 in Australia

It is skiing day today. We woke up early in the morning as we were preparing to take the lesson to ski today. It takes us 2 hours to learn. After the lesson, we knew how to ski already. After that, I fell down deeply until very painful. It made me scared to ski again. Then, I just stand beside and watch my sister and dad ski. haihz... I'll try again next time.

It's me in the ski suit.

Family photo with a beautiful screen.

On 4.00pm, we left Mount Buller. I missed the snow mount so much. After that, I called up phooi sin along the way back by using the public phone. My dad caught this picture when I was making the phone.

Later, Phooi Sin met me on 11.00pm on the night. At the end, we chit-chat until we forgot about the time. Lastly, my mum came over to my room and asked phooi sin to go back as it is really late already. It is dangerous for her to walk home alone. Therefore, I sent her down to the lobby. However, we still cit-chat non-stopin the lobby. haihz.... what to do? two kaypo girls met would end up like this. But I enjoyed it very much. Phooi sin, miss you so much ya. You must take care o~~

P/S: How I wish I would have a longer time to spend for today.

Day 7 in Australia

We were going to Mount Buller today to ski. I woke up early in the morning to take a bus to Mount Buller. We took 4 hours bus. Finally, we saw the snow. We have reached Mount Buller.

The first day, we were not prepared to ski yet. Therefore, we just rent a snow board to play. But, it is enough to satisfy us especially my youngest sister.

We were going up and up and up to play snow board.

We were ready to play.

Four of us were on the snow board.

SNOW.....

After that, we were so tired. All of us slept early tonight.

P/S: Nice and cold day.

Day 6 in Australia

We were having a tight plan for today. First destination is the Victoria Market. Their market are full with a lot of foodsss. ALL foods are there. Their market are clean compare to Malaysia's market. All the seafoods are fresh and nice. Initially, my dad brought a hot god. It is so nice.

This doughnuts are the best in Melbourne. The best doughnuts I have never had in my life.

Oysters are our favourites. We have two dozens of it.

After that, we rent a car as we are going to Philips Island to see Penguin, Koala and Kangaroo. On the way to Philips Island, we went to Gordon's house. At that time, I use Sing's laptop to contact Phooi Sin hoping to meet her later in Melbourne.

Melbourne's road.

Finally, we reached Philips Island but we were hungry. Then, What to eat? Fish and Chips again.
The beautiful screen in Philips Island.

After lunch, we went to watch Kangaroo and Koala. The kangaroo were not affraid of people.

The koalas were acting very slow and smooth.

After that, we were going to watch the penguin. However, they restricted no camera in there. Therefore, there were no pictures available. The penguine were so cute.

P/S: Todays Melbourne is warmer than Sydney's wheather.

Day 5 in Australia

The last day in Sydney. We were going off to Melbourne later by Virgin Blue. Before leaving our servie apartment, we took a family picture. Yeah~

Since we still have some time, my dad brought us to University of Sydney to have a look. WAU~~~ It is so beautiful as it is the oldest university in Australia. When you walk inside, you can feel the feeling of Harvard. Wau.... Really nice. It makes me have a feeling to change my mind to University of Sydney. Then, we quickly asked for the application. But they still need Au$ 100 for application fees. Since it makes no different, so we will decide it after we come back to Penang.

Sydney U view 1....
Sydney U view 2....
Sydney U view 3....
Sydney U view 4.....

After that, we fly over to Melbourne. When we reached Melbourne, Melbourne is a different things compare to Sydney. It is a city which is full with art feelings. I found that actually Melbourne is looking more like an Asian country. EVERYWHERE is asian who are black hair and yellow skin. Besides that, I found that Melbourne city is more dirty compare to Sydney. Melbourne China Town is the worst. If you want to prove it, you just go to the public toilet will do. In Sydney, the toilets are CLEAN. Melbourne's toilets are DIRT. Yiak~ I hate it. However, Melbourne is very convinient because there are trams everywhere.

At night, we met up my cousins. my biao jie (bian), biao jie fu (Gordon), and biao ge (Sing). We have an italian dinner. It is so nice and delicious. See my face?

Foods....
After that, we have some desserts. The desserts are nice and delicious but it is fattening.
Chocolates...
We were waiting tram....

P/S: I got many advices from my cousin. Miss them a lotz....

Day 4 in Australia

Today is the day to discover Sydney by our car. Our main destination was the University of New South Wales (UNSW). First destination was beach because it was a sunny day. Wau... the beach superb nice and beautiful. See?

UNSW view 1....
UNSW view 2....
UNSW view 3.....
UNSW view 4....
I found that there were a lot lot lot of students in UNSW. Mostly are Asians. The library was really superb big. There are about 7 levels of library and there are many students in the library. It links me back to the feeling of my first day going into Penang Chinese Girls' High School. It just like many seniors that I didn't know they are and new situation I have met. Besides, there are many types of people in UNSW. Besides that, I get a culture shock too. No wonder all the oversea student would changed after they went overseas.

After that, we went to find Uncle Tong again for lunch. He owned a chinese restaurant in Sydney city. We ordered some hokkien mee and laksa. This round really has the taste of Penang Hokkien Mee. About the laksa, it is actually the Penang Curry Mee. Taste nice as well according to my dad because I didn't eat curry mee in fact.

Cheese...
After that, we took a few pictures.
Harbour Bridge.
The rent car.

P/S: Good Day.

Day 3 in Australia

What a beautiful morning we have today. Cheer~~

Today, our plan was going to Vine Yard and Newcastle. As the two destinations were so far, so we rent a car with the company- Herzt. The company provided mostly new cars. Along the way to Hezrt, I saw something. It is Captain James Cook. DCMAU buddies~ Do you still remember who he is? The first person who discovered Australia.

Then, here we go to Vine Yard. It takes us 2 hours to reach there. Finally, we are here.

The Vine Yard.

The wine taste bitter.

The grape tree without grapes.

After that, we went to Newcastle. When we reached there, it is 5.00pm already. However, Newcastle city still remain its traditionaly culture. Most of the shops are closed and there were no people at all in the street. It is really totally different compared to Sydney. After that, we found our way to University of Newcastle. When we reached there, the day was dark. So, I didn't really have a clear look on it.

I saw the hostel of it. It is quite nice to live instead. Besides that, it has a big campus too just as the others. It has a feeling just like the USM. Besides that, I saw a lot of students having their dinner in the canteen. Most of them are those white one. After having a few look, we went back to Sydney for 2 hours.

After that, we went back to the Chinese restaurant that Uncle Tong brought us the first day as my mum miss out her lobster that night. Wao... the foods there are so expensive. Finally, we didn't eat lobster as the price are too high. Therefore, we just ordered some chinese foods as dinner.

P/S: Tired day.

Day 2 in Australia

Today, our plan was going to sit a boat in Darling Harbour. Along the way to Darling Harbour, we walked around Sydney City. Sydney City is just like a busy working place. All the people are wearing coaks and dress in a formal way. Besides that, the street are so clean. Actually, China Town is more dirty compare to the other street.

Sydney's church.

Family Photo.

The clock.

Finally, we reached the harbour. My dad bought some fish and chips for us as lunch. Their fish and chips are so delicious. No wonder my dad always complain that penang's fish and chips not nice. You must try it when you went to Australia. The fish and ships you get anywhere from Australia is always better than Penang's. Besides, the bird there are so "hiong". When we were sitting and having our lunch, they just come and want to get it form us. They are not affraid of people. Remember it.

Then, we went onto the small ship to have a view around Darling Harbour.

The Opera House.

The Harbour Bridge.

Say no to the jail...
What are we looking at?

What a beautiful sunset.

At night, we have dinner at China Town again. Tonight, we ate our dinner in a Hong Kong restaurant. The porridge were so nice. Therefore, if you want to eat something nice and cheap, go to this shop and it would fulfill your needs.

P/S: We end up our day happily.

Day 1 in Australia

We reached Australia 9am early in the morning according to Australia time. Once we reached Sydney Airport, we followed the Forever Tour's bus as they would drop us at our service apartment - OAKS.

Sydney Airport.

OAKS is a nice service department with double stories which have a kitchen. After that, we walked down to China Town as our service apartment located in Sydney City center. Sydney is no longer the old times anymore. There are a lot of Asian in Sydney nowadays. When we walked in the city, you wouldn't feel like you were in the western country as there are quite a numbers of Asians. Of course there are still a numbers of white men and women. Then, we have our lunch in China Town. BLek... Its chinese food is not as best as Penang. It is so oily and not delicious at all.

Then, we walked back to our SA to meet the agent. Then, he brought us to watch a few apartments nearby. It is really so expensive. The highest costs about AU$1.25 million. Thw whole day, we spent our time for 3 apartments. During the journey, I saw University of New South Wales (UNSW)'s front door only. haha...

On 7.00pm, we met up Uncle Tong and his wife. They are my dad's best friend. They brought us to the nearest Chinese reataurant to have dinner. They ordered a lot of delicous and expensive foods such as lobster, big prawn, lemon chicken, beijing duck etc. It is superb nice. Suddenly, my mum's teeth broken while eating the beijing duck - the first meal being served. Then, Auntie and Uncle brought my mum to fix it. Pity mum.

The lobster and us.

After the dinner, we walked around the city. Sydney is really a beautiful city. After that, we went into a supermarket named Woolworth. My dad said that it is one of the cheapest supermarket in Sydney. Therefore, it would be a best place for us to bought our daily uses as it open until late in the night. After that, we walked back to OAKS to have a rest. Phew~ What a tired day.

Sydney View from our SA.

P/S: What a nice day in Sydney.
